Workshop Overview
In this photography adventure, we will be looking for adventure through the old growth forests during the Springtime in the Great Smoky Mountains. A time of renewal and new growth. Prepare to be amazed, as vibrant colors will be coming to life before your very eyes. Water levels will be flowing at their highest levels of the year and we will be exploring alongside many of our favorites that have opportunities of waterfalls and gorgeous mist filled mossy boulder gardens. We will be up with the roosters every morning to take advantage of the smoke filled mountain valleys that gave the Smokies their name. A true sight to behold while the light dances among the clouds piercing through with light rays falling upon the golden peaks. We will then head on over to the famous Cades Cove, an early settlement in the Smokies and a favorite place to find abundant wildlife such as Bear, Deer, Turkey, Bird of Prey and many others that make the area their home.

Join me for a fantastic 3-day Photography Workshop in the Great Smoky Mountains this Spring. It's a magical time as rivers and waterfalls flow from the rain, and the forest bursts with color. Dogwood blossoms dot the landscape, creating a fairy-tale setting.

We’ll cover everything from a-z in this Workshop, including how to harness water speed and choose the correct exposure for exposure blending. We will also cover focus stacking and how to capture the appropriate images to seamlessly blend them successfully. You’ll learn how and when to use your equipment effectively, from wide-angle lenses to long lenses for capturing wildlife in their hidden spots and how to approach them safely and without scaring them. If you are have issues that are unique to you, not to worry, we will help you address these issues and they will be a thing of the past. After the Workshop, we will get together one more time to share our image and I will share my editing techniques. The session is recorded and you will receive a copy of it so you can refer back to it time and time again.

Breathe in the scents of new growth as the forest comes alive with ferns, flowers, and flowing rivers. Get ready for an unforgettable photography adventure!
