I am a Landscape Photographer and Guide with over 35 years of experience in the Outdoors and 19 years as a Professional Photographer. I am based in the picturesque town of Boone, North Carolina where I run two photography businesses from my home. I live in a picturesque setting nestled right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is very close to heaven.

A typical day for me involves various types of adventure, exploration, and capturing the raw beauty of nature. When not on location, I am constantly working on something or catching up on personal projects. It seems like my projects multiply quickly and I love projects that further my education on this amazing journey of photography. Impromptu photoshoots are always on the menu and I venture out frequently to see what I can find.

I am a proud alumni of Appalachian State University. My goal is to combine my academic background and vast outdoor experience to deliver exceptional adventures and well thought out photographic experiences for all levels.

I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of this dream of landscape photography, exploration, adventure, and the education of landscape photographers all over the World.
