Overview

We understand that everyone has unique needs, and our main goal is to understand your personal vision and fill in any gaps where we see opportunities. Telling our clients to follow a certain technique or philosophy is never our goal. Rather, we listen carefully to your goals and offer suggestions to enhance your own Workflow. A sound technique and solid vision is a great place to start. Once you feel great about that, we help you take it to the next level, where advanced composition, balance, timing and orchestration of the elements can deliver the WOW factor you’ve been looking for…

We’ll take an afternoon to dive in to our imagery. It can be from the Workshop or even images that you’ve had prior questions about. We’re happy to help, and will take the time necessary to solve an issues you’ve been having.

Feeling good about where you are with photography? That’s perfect! We have lots of folks in the same boat and not to worry… we’ll give you all the space you need. We’ll make suggestions on shoot locations and more advanced compositions and concepts to enhance what you’re already doing! We’ll be close by to double check any compositions you like. Some of the more advanced skills require not only a solid composition, but ways to use lines, objects, color and tone to help guide the viewer through your image. When done correctly, your image will reach far beyond being just a pretty picture, it will tell a story of time, place and action. If this is more your gig, we are in 100%.

During our stay at the Outer Banks, we will also have the opportunity to shoot some Astrophotography if conditions are right!   Since we will be shooting at various times during the day and night, the Astrophotography photoshoots will be optional and open to anyone feeling the need for something different.

Enrollment is limited to 10 on this Workshop. We want to be able to give you the personalized attention you seek, and with two instructors we can do just that. Join us this amazing (and bug free) trip to the Outer Banks and explore what you’ve been missing!
